J Station X: "After several poor game launches and controversies soured public opinion, we look at what Ubisoft can do to get gamers back on board."
Its funny how they were saying BF4 was buggy when Unity was unplayable. I love bad karma :)
No more Assasin's Creed Parity 900p for AC Parity 900p Black Friday bundles, no more lies for lame excuses and more 1080p patches to right that which is wrong?
Yes, because we want a buggy, glitch filled mess in glorious 1080p!
TRUE I TELL YOU. ABSOLUTELY TRUE.
stop being EA
At least EA gave out three free games recently.
True,something is better than nothing.
don't gimp games to avoid "debates and stuff."
They can start with not screwing all the games up.
I need only two reasons. 1. Release great games. 2. Release them without major bugs. Normally I expect that two would be the standards already..but the standards changed to the worse in the last years =/
Make Assassin's Creed: Victory amazing and give us Beyond Good & Evil 2
All except the first. Keep on pumping out those games
Give their games some breathing room before making everything annual.
1. Delay games that clearly aren't finished. 2. Make more games that aren't all essentially the same goddamned formula. The Ubisoft formula for open world titles, unless they mix it up a LOT - homogenises all of their gameplay and just makes everything so damned samey and unexciting.
There's this perception that The Crew was a buggy mess at launch. That wasn't the case. Not anything like some of the other recent games anyway. It had a few random server disconnects for the first day or so, that's about it. Also the handling is adjustable- you can make it feel like a completely different game! That's something a lot of people don't seem to know. As far as his other suggestions, Ubi is already doing those things. They released a bunch of new IPs last year (WD, Crew, Child of Light, Valient Hearts). Unity was a mess, WD was to a lesser extent, apart from that they release a bunch of great games. Ubi has ambitious ideas. Their only problems are quality control issues, and a Unity team who created bad PR by making ill-advised comments.
Get rid of U play and make another sequel to Stick of Truth I prefer Ubisoft over Capcom or SquareEnix
"Bug-free games that aren't cash grabs filled with microtransactions" ^^^That is what you need ^^^^
Make Rayman Legends 2 and all will be forgiven.
Release Beyond Good and Evil 2... That is all
I think its epically hilarious that even though several Assassin's Creed games were released this year, the best AC game of them all was Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. When another company (WB) walks into your yard and does better, it's time to take a long hard look at yourself. Personally, I can't wait for the next Shadow of Mordor game and I couldn't care less about Assassin's Creed: Victory. I believe us gamers have a term for this: Pwned.
