Should Sony Sell 20th Anniversary Edition DualShock 4 Separately?

Would it be a smart move for Sony to re-release the 20th Anniversary Edition PS4 DualShock 4 as a standalone product?

I wouldn't mind as much if they were much cheaper or they were going for £19.94 but they are still full price. You are basically going through a shitty game just to pay to get one. Don't see why they can't put them up on the Sony store.

Maybe to avoid what happened in the US where the site crashed prohibiting real fans from getting it. Seems like they're making it a drag so people who just want to Sale it on eBay wouldn't bother getting it. I don't see why they just don't sell it as a bundle worldwide. Heck I can careless for the number labeled on the bottom right of the console.

Problem is the past few days now the site where you pick the answer usually crashes (yeah they *apparently* didn't expect this much traffic...funny right) and you have to be extremely lucky. So at the end of the day this plan is flawed aswell

They should of just added so many a day on the Sony UK store over the course of the week. Would be much easier.

This is what i thought they were going to do until i found out the system was only on there online store. I really hope the 20th anniversary becomes standard stock at stores, that classic ps logo though! seriously this is a classic we allll deserve and it shouldn't be limited :)

The market is there for it I would pick it up I can always use a new controller. I think they should secretly sneak out a new batch of 20th anniversary consoles into the general batch of PS3s that hit store shelves.

They should do that AND make more consoles that aren't numbered. That was the others are truly limited edition and numbered and then they can turn around and sell a boatload more that are just standard. The super inflated secondary market goes down and who cares? What does Sony owe the rats selling them on eBay? Nothing.

Yes the console is exclusive enough IMO let the people that couldn't find one/afford/already have a ps4 celebrate 20 years of playstation maybe even include a code for a ps1 styles theme/whatever they are called on ps4

What a brilliant suggestion. Totally behind this. Anyone saying "no, they shouldn't" is just being salty. The consoles should be limited, yes, but the controllers could be enjoyed by everyone, and Sony would profit massively from it.
