Retailer listings indicate that there'll be a price increase for various Nintendo amiibo that have been announced for 2025.
$40 is absolutely ridiculous. $15 made sense, but you can literally get full on games for $40… what in the hell is going on?

Had a little Mac (and the others) all ordered through GAME after seeing them in my local store a week early. Got an email yesterday saying they couldn't honour Little Mac and just cancelled him, maybe if they weren't selling them in stores a week early they may have been able to put my order through, muppets.
While it is great they are selling. The fans are the ones who will suffer.
The amiibos just make people go crazy, I bet in Kyoto they're having a nice party XD
Yeah, I'm collecting them for Christmas gifts. Pretty much got the whole wave 1 set and found Princess Zelda and Lil Mac in the wild yesterday, they were advertised to be released this Friday, but I knew they would just be put out early. The shame is, there were only a few to start. So when people go out Friday to look for them, no Lil Mac or Zelda will be found.
