Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes Ported from Oculus to Morpheus ‘in a couple of days’ – Sony

VRFocus - While there were plenty of announcements to be made at this month’s PlayStation Experience fan event in Las Vegas, Nevada, few related to the Project Morpheus virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) for PlayStation 4. However one big announcement that Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) VP of Publisher and Developer Relations Adam Boyes did make was that Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes had been ported from PC, where it supports the Oculus Rift PC HMD, to PlayStation 4 with Project Morpheus integration. According to Boyes, that port only took ‘a couple of days’ to carry out.

The story is too old to be commented.

Morpheus will benefit from Occulus and visa versa, VR is taking it's first steps into peoples lives and it will benefit both devices if there is some overlap in development helping to increase awareness of VR to the consumer.

VR is coming of age I for one am excited.

Only thing I have a feeling VR will be much better on PC.
Your I kinda directly in the game so 60fps will feel closer to real life motion.
Console (yes even ps4) are not really built for 1080 60fps with amazing realistc graphics. At least not unless the game is linear. And even thoughts games are 30fps.

Unless looking around with your head is the same as looking around with your thumb 60fps may be a must have since some have said its easier to notice a bit of lag with lower frames.

Oculus founder says it suck for vr. Seeing how consoles are having performance issues after one year and ps4 is not upgradable, potential problems may arise say in 2016+.

So I think sony should put frame rate before gaphics.

Nuggets the PS4 is far more capable than what your seeing now, Compute is something that is only now being explored and will offer huge leaps in the PS4's potential.

Also and I'm not certain but I'm sure I heard that Sony could beef up the hardware in Morpheus to aid the PS4 in what it's doing, (not sure if thats true)

Either way Morpheus I'm sure offer a great VR experience.
