Super Mega Baseball review for PS4, PS3 - Gaming Age

GA:
"I love MLB The Show. It's been one of the primary causes of me jumping into the last three generations of Sony's home consoles and both of their handhelds, and I've probably spent more time on Road To The Show careers than I have in any other game, ever. That said, I'd be lying if part of me didn't kind of miss the baseball video games of my youth, when there were (quite literally) dozens of them and the focus was less on realism and more on simply having fun."

Man when I was a kid their was a baseball game where you could develop all kinds of super powers to throw flaming fastballs and hit monster dongs. That game was so much more fun then actual baseball. That and games like Blitz or NBA Jam. Not everything has to be hyper realistic. It's like people think if it doesn't look super realistic then it can't be good.

Well said Doug. The best golf games on the PlayStation are the Everybody's Golf series (Hot Shots Golf). Very cartoony bright colourful graphics, but a whole lot more fun than the more realistic counterparts.

It's almost a bit like backyard baseball to it seems...

Would love to see this on vita.

NVIDIA Shield TV: An Excellent Streaming Device | FanBolt

FanBolt writes: "During NVIDIA’s recent conference at CES 2017 I was very interested in learning about what they would announce at the show, especially when it comes to computer gaming as I’m always putting the latest GeForce GTX graphics card to the test with many of the greatest PC games. However, it was a different piece of hardware that caught my attention this year as NVIDIA announced a new Shield TV streaming device. Not only is it for streaming movies and TV shows in 4K, but also for streaming games in a new and much improved way. This totally peaked my interest."

Super Mega Baseball review - The Gamer Scene

Never call a PC gamer a casual, especially when they’re holding a sharp object or you may end up getting hurt. PC gamers are anything but casual, except when it comes to sports games. Sports games are a rare breed on PC outside of football (or soccer for my American brethren) and most PC gamers aren’t fussed by this but many, such as myself, are sports fans and would like to see more than just football on pc. Taking a sidewards step for a minute, sports games aren’t really big hitters amongst casual fans. Sports games are easy to pick up but take ages to master.
