Justin van Huyssteen from NoobFeed writes - The Metaverse is a nebulous concept that has been floated about, by some, as the next big thing, and people often want to jump on board these kinds of things. Metaverse has been in the news a lot, but should it be in the news as often as it is? Or is it just another gimmick?
I have no interest in a metaverse, just give me a good single player game. And to answer your question: no, it isn't.
Carbine Studios announced in September that the game would be shut down and that the studio would be closing. Since the announcement, players have been able to enjoy the full game without restriction and with a number of in-game events firing off for the last time.
WildStar offers epic high adventure, where players make their mark as Explorers, Soldiers, Scientists or Settlers and lay claim to a mysterious planet on the edge of known space.
Wildstar has to first go free-to-play.
It is a bit disappointing that Wildstar was so hyped by their own product developer. Wish it could of lived up to the raised expectations, sadly not.
Now that I've started playing WoW can I join the bandwagon and call every other MMO a WoW clone? :P
This game might very well be the best game ever made. But because its an MMO many people wont know, because they're reluctant to step into another MMO after years with WoW.
Pro-tip: Rather don't make an MMO
If this just had the Guild wars 2 approach one time fee I would take a look.
