Pinball FX2 – Venom Pinball Review - Mouse n Joypad

Ahmed writes - "Zen Studios continues its pinball addiction with the all-new Venom table in Pinball FX2. While on the whole it is standard fare, the developer has added all new real-time animations to the Venom coat of paint, along with a brilliantly designed table that differentiates it from the myriad of other tables available. The story goes that Eddie Brock, a journalist by trade, had caught the wrong murderer on a case, with Spiderman saving the day and catching the real crook. Brock begins to loathe the web slinger and then comes across the symbiont strain that uses him as a host subject and thus Venom is born. Running at 60 frames per second was vital to the Xbox One port of Zen’s pinball games, with the buttery smooth gameplay pairing well in a twitch heavy game like pinball. It’s visually appealing, charming, and addictive as you compete against friends for the top leaderboard positions."

Review: Pinball FX2 - Venom (Xbox One) - Purexbox

Purexbox:
"One of the many things that we appreciate about Zen Studios' work with their Marvel Pinball tables is their commitment to acknowledging characters and properties that don't have as much mainstream appeal as, say, Spider-Man, Iron Man, or Captain America. For every Fantastic Four and The Avengers, we've had Doctor Strange and The Infinity Gauntlet. Heck, even Moon Knight has his own table. If you're a Marvel Comics fan and you happen to like pinball to any degree, Pinball FX2 arguably provides the best fan service of any video game out there. And now, fans of the wall-crawler and perhaps two of his most dangerous foes, Venom and Carnage, have something juicy to wrap their tongues around. That's right, Venom is the latest and greatest addition to Pinball FX2."
