Marcus Estrada writes: "Back in September, the crowdfunded convention formerly known as GaymerX had their third successful campaign. Raising nearly $100,000, it was obvious that the gaming community appreciated this endeavor and wanted it to continue. Today we finally have confirmation as to its location as well as the date. If you've been keeping an eye on GX3 then you might recall how they previously asked the community where a next convention should be held."
Josh Grifiths writes: "This new location is not without its problems, however. As stated in the Risks and Challenges section, the event this year is being held in a hotels and convention centers, and event planner Midboss was unable to secure an adjacent hotel for guests to stay."
Marcus Estrada writes: "GX4 proved an interesting convention for many reasons. The biggest of which might just be the fact that it felt smaller when compared to GX3. Despite a full booking of panels, very few stood out to me personally this time around. Even though there was an expo hall, it only featured a slim selection of folks selling their wares. Instead, booths for Intel, GitHub, LinkedIn and others took up space and seemed best for people looking to network."
