Hangar 13 is angling to be the next Irrational Games

When Ken Levine announced that Irrational Games would be closing down, it felt a little bit like the end of an era. Irrational was purchased by Take-Two Interactive in 2006, and Bioshock, the tremendous IP that made 2K the go-to developer for mature, narrative-driven action games, was released just one year later. Now, with Levine moving onto a smaller indie-esque project within 2K, how will they fill the gap Irrational left behind? Our money is on Hanger 13, 2K’s newest studio.

They may be great in their own right and possibly even surpass Irrational, but no-one can replace Irrational imo.
