Settlement reached in Phillips vs Nintendo patent infringement suit

VG24 writes:

Back in May, Phillips filed a patent infringement suit against Nintendo over the console manufacturer’s use of motion control technology inherent in Wii U. Today, it was announced a settlement between the two companies had been reached.

The complaint from Phillips not only included Wii U but the Wii Remote controller, Wii and DS, and the firm was seeking an injunction which would bar further sales of Wii U until the matter was settled.

The story is too old to be commented.
