A good detective story is all about keeping the audience on the edge of their seat. Constantly providing new evidence on the crime but always keeping the mystery out of their reach. Many games have aspired to do so in the past with a handful of successes such as L.A. Noir and The Wolf Among Us rising above the rest.

Agree with about half the list. Big outlier is shadow of the eternals. Glad that one failed both times.
Serena Nelson writes: "Anyone at all familiar with the dark arts at all should instantly recognize the inverted pentagram, the corpse of a half naked woman hanging upside down from the wall, and newspaper clippings dealing with strange rituals. I had goosebumps seeing the carnage because I knew what most of the scene meant. And it's not something that you'll want to investigate for any amount of money if you value your sanity and life."
