Kevin of Paranerds writes : "I’ve already pondered the question if I should buy an Xbox ONE or a PlayStation 4 first (I plan to get both eventually). And I’ve looked at pros and cons on these two systems. Hell, I didn’t even do this much research on buying my new car. Xbox one offers Halo: Master Chief Collection (which is covered in bugs) and PlayStation 4 offers The Last of Us: Remastered. Wait, what? I have those games already.
PlayStation - The Concert is a magical musical experience for fans of the brand.
Two award-winning masterpieces, together in one incredible collection.
As expected. Unless it's going to Xbox or Switch 2, we can stop hearing about these older games now? We can move on to just news about new games?
This will be the 4th time Sony sells us The Last of Us Part 1.. And the 2nd time on the PS5.
Store says I already own it. I guess it’s just a straight twin-pack. Looks like they added 4 maps to ‘No Return’.
billibil-kun: "As The Last of Us season 2 prepares to air on HBO, we've spotted a mysterious reference to a special edition of a physical PS5 game from the franchise. Here's our take on the game, which remains unclear for now."
I hope it's both ps5 games bundled with all updates including the new no return add ons for April. I'll triple dip on that.
The same reason that if i have a movie on DVD, but i want all the extra's and extra visual refinement, I may just go and buy the Bluray.
I understand from DVD to Bluray but Bluray to Bluray?
Believe me a person can buy Ghostbusters only so many times. (I'd buy it again)
My logic is that in an era where BC is pretty much dead and you're getting higher res and frames and all the DLC I never bought included, this will be a nice $15 pickup a year or so from now when I'm craving said masterpiece and don't want to hook up my ps3 (DLC and extra visual fidelity are also factors). Remasters are a valuable asset to have in the first few years of a console's life when the flow of games slows. That and it's kind of necessary for those who never played the first one when TLoU2 releases exclusively for PS4 Spring 2017.
The people who buy both for full price at launch though... I will never understand.
The same reason people are dying for a final fantasy 7 remake.
If you absolutely love a game, why wouldn't you buy a better looking, better performing version?
"Why Are You OK With Buying The Same Game Twice?"
Why would anyone ask this type of question when there are people buying annual franchises every year? What's the difference?
