Rolling a Murloc Character Class in World of Warcraft has Been Closer than you think - AusGamers

In an interview with AusGamers at BlizzCon, World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor senior art director Chris Robinson revealed that a playable murloc class has been closer to development than you might think, and that it's not off the table yet.

He also spoke a lot about many other things.

AusGamers: How long until someone can actually roll a murloc character?

Chris: It’s been shockingly close several times.

AusGamers: That would get me into the game, one hundred percent!

Chris: [laughs] You’re not the only one, there’s a lot of people.

Murlocs are great. We’ve talked about it. There are no concrete plans at this point, but it’s definitely not something that we’ve taken off of the table.

The full interview talks about World of Warcraft coming full-circle as far as Warcraft lore and forward momentum goes, how integral and indelible the community is in shaping the game's direction, what it means to build emotive worlds and much, much more.
