Review: Lufia: The Legend Returns - NLife

NLife:
"Young Wain is the protector of his small village; it’s not a tough gig, with just the occasional blob-creature to slash on the outskirts, but things are about to change. As a spiritual force awakens inside him, the powerful Sinistrels re-emerge to release a threat of “unseen terror on the land”. His bloodline and a “thread of destiny” draw Wain into a battle to save the world; yes, it’s your typical RPG set-up. Lufia: The Legend Returns is the third entry in the series that began on the SNES with a decent first game and a very good second one, but how would the series fair with the move to the Game Boy Color?"

Did you play the DS remake of...Lufia 2 I think? Man, that game was weird.

I saw that it was a remake and passed on it. I thought they would give it another shot at some point. Just saying, the Sinistrals would look crazy on good graphics.

Lufia: The Legend Returns' large cast makes the game stronger

Have [people] ever considered how unrealistic it is when [people] see games where a small group of heroes somehow topple gods and save the world? A group of four or six teenagers or young adults managing to do it all? It could be considered quite a stretch. Some games acknowledge this by offering a larger party to make their premise more plausible, but it is Lufia: The Legend Returns that goes above and beyond to present a solid cast. This game’s 12 heroes and heroines come together to strike down the Sinistrals in a way that makes a bit more sense.
