Does this work with any guitar ?

I just bought an affinity telecaster back in may, but I haven't played it a ton. Wondering if this could help a bit...

Ohh and solid review...lol

Yep. As long as it has an audio jack you are good to go.

You need the special adapter that comes with the game. I just wish they had an upgrade option. Not willing to pay full price for the same game.

Knightshade3807d ago

Thanks. I have to admit, I had a blast making it. :)

@Knightshade- Cool review man.

So no audio delay on this version?I had to hook my 360 up to my stereo with RCA cables to avoid the delay.

Knightshade3807d ago

You can adjust it in the options. I dropped mine from 50ms (the default) to 4ms and had no problems.

Optical Cable to your stereo is the best way.

Scatpants3807d ago (Edited 3807d ago )

I originally had it hooked up with optical but there was an audio delay. If there's an adjustment option in this one that's cool.

"A NOTE ABOUT OPTICAL AUDIO: We do not recommend using an optical output for playing Rocksmith® 2014 on Xbox 360 or PlayStation®3 system, as it can introduce additional latency when compared to those systems’ analog connections. Thanks to hardware and software improvements inherent to Xbox One and PlayStation®4 system, however, we do recommend using optical audio output on the most recent systems."

Life is Beautiful as Sixx:A.M. bring hard rock to Rocksmith

Neil writes: "There is absolutely no debating the brilliance of Nikki Sixx. But while the most famous moments of Sixx' musical career have revolved around Mötley Crüe's tunes, it is the smaller side project that is today appearing on Rocksmith. Yep, that's right, Sixx:A.M. are here and providing a brand new song pack to the fastest guitar tutor in the West."
