It's been one year since the launch of Microsoft's Xbox One and Sony's PlayStation 4, and the competition to dominate the latest console generation has been heated. With Microsoft fumbling out of the gate, thanks to a lackluster announcement, and Sony hitting all the right notes, how do the two consoles compare a year later?
Final Fantasy Tactics Remastered‘s announcement was a welcome surprise to many, older fans along with the younger generation would be able to experience the epic PS1 game again with some new things that would improve the experience such as voice acting.
This is really stupid and just baffling, the explanation for it is also a big non answer, very disappointing.
Square Enix has really gone down the drain. Even FF7: Rebirth, while being an incredible acheivment seemed very sloppy in some areas... namely performance. These folks wonder why their games don't sell but aren't putting in a decent effort.
With the release of the v36.10 mode on June 18, Fortnite removed an iconic mode.
The new Diablo 4 Reliquary battle pass system is so scummy that players are sending Blizzard more money due to accidental miss-clicks.
Switching the screens and buttons? Nah. Some person wanted to look good to someone higher up. Demonstrating how many people buy the content will demonstrate it. Even if they have to reverse it later. Totally scummy.
It’s like a car dealership selling extended warranty in a scummy way. Even if they have to refund them later, it will technically show somewhere that they sold it and make them look good for something.
I can't believe this game came out 2 years ago already. I uninstalled it 1 year & 10 months ago.
I really enjoyed Diablo 4, but the cost of skins and various content are absurd and kind of insulting. I think like outfits were $20, I heard the Berserk stuff is ways more expensive. It’s just nuts that this is the direction they want to go in. I feel like you’d do better n sales making these like $1-$5, but what do I know?
'More than 13.5 million PS4's have been shipped to retailers, compared to Xbox One's 10 million.'
If Xbox was at 10 million they would be boasting about how they are now in second place.
They are not. Wii U is at 7 million, Xbox is obviously still less than that. But I know they did say 'shortly' so the expectations for summer are obviously through the roof.
I struggle to see how LBP, Infamous, Driveclub and Knack can possibly be considered to be online in terms of exclusive games in the first year when MS had Ryse, Forza 5, Forza Horizon 2, Halo MC Collection, Sunset Overdrive, D4 & Killer Instinct.
Personally on the games front, MS gets the prize this year IMO.
Both are good systems with some great exclusives on both sides like Driclveclub, Knack, Killzone SF, TLOU HD, inFamous SS, and LBP3 on PS4 and Forza 5, Forza Horizon 2, Killer Instinct, Dead Rising, Titanfall, Sunset Overdrive, Ryse, Project Spark, and Halo MCC on XB1.
My scores:
PS4 4/5
XB1 4/5
I am a neutral gamer giving my neutral point if view and my conclusion is both are pretty much neck and neck. Glad I have both of them as well as the Second year Wii U.

i think the consoles are in the countrys that will make them sales, except china and ps4 still needs to be done.
people just hve to face it even with really crazy cheap offers i dont think xb1 gonna catch up yet, there giving away all of there big games in uk for under £380 in a 5 game bundle. its stupid and desperate imo.
but this gen is crazy because last gen i was XBOX360 gamer and all i heard was
X360 HAS BETTER RESOLUTION
X360 HAS FASTER LOAD TIMES
X360 HAS MORE GRASS
X360 HAS MORE ARCADE GAMES
X360 HAS BETTER PATCHING SYSTEM.
X360 HAS BETTER SERVERS
this gen they only have the server claim and i still agree(psn has loads issues imo)but supposedly NON of the things i wrote then about what X360 did better matter anymore.
why is that now when it mattered so much last year?
at end of day people want the better system and showing with there wallets,i expect ps4 by 20 million sold by end of this tax year.
