Nintendo Insider writes: After keeping it hidden in the shadows for so long, Ubisoft have today shared the first Wii U screenshots for their open world hackathon, Watch_Dogs.
To bad they disabled the feature on Miiverse. lmao I am surprised they even bothered to have a Miiverse page as its not required of every game.
Probably because they knew they would get a lot of hate if they did have a Miiverse page lol
Damage control. I think Nintendo should make it a required feature for every game. I wanted to share some Monster Hunter screens several times, or use screens in asking questions, but the feature wasn't there. Real bummer. I already played Watch Dogs, but still think the feature should be there for new players.
Mods would have to monitor the page around the clock to avoid controversial views and bad language. And of course funny, funny Miipost pictures.
Like they seriously could not just port it to the wii u instead of delaying it half a year? Was map integration the only thing they could do to add to the wii u version?
If they aren't pulling a UBI on us, they actually look really good. Can't wait to see it in motion.
Doesnt look bad at all. However im cautious with these because Ubisoft is know to be dishonest with screenshots.
This are probably bullshots like Ubisoft always do. The game will be probably an aliasing mess with low res textures.
I dont mean to bash the Wii U or anything but these shots look too clean if you know what i mean. Reminds me of what they did with the XB1 and PS4 versions of the game.
from what I've seen of it aa is absent but other than that it holds up fairly well. Don't know about how it performs though
ubisoft ubisofting it up
It really doesn't look bad. Like I have said before though, I will pick this up for under $20 next summer, If at all. I will let someone else give money to Ubisoft on the initial buy. It does look decent though in these screens.
it comes out today and they finally show us screenshots aswell????? wow ubisoft your making ea look good
I like the map on the controller.
I was at Gamestop earlier today and I overheard an employee saying the there is only ONE copy in that store. I was like "What? Really? Only one copy?" and he said "Yes..." I'm not sure if the retailer or Ubisoft decides how many copies go to each store. Still this paints a really pathetic picture for them. On topic, the screenshots look nice. Almost as if they were "doctored" (Knowing Ubi-bullshot). But no videos seen of it. At all. Haven't seen any reviews up for it either. Hmmmmm....
If you own a Wii U and don't support this game, get ready for the Ubishaft. No more AC, no Rainbow 6, no Division, no nothing but Ninnnntennndoo foooorrrrevvvvuuur. Watchdogs is badass I'm about to plat it. That Russian Roulette privacy invasion was awesome...if you like open world and you like hacking how can you not love Watchdogs? So many people hating on it, and didn't even give it a fair chance. Stop the Watchdogs hate. Support Ubi, and stop crying because we are all going to be on The Division and Ubi knows it, so right now, they are being rockstars and doing what they want knowing we won't remember any of it come next year.
Let your disagrees begin
Okay, Watchdogs is rated as a mediocre game - "best" Metacritic score was an 80 on the PS4, and it goes down from there. I'd personally replay (or pick it up if you haven't) Deus Ex Directors Cut. Metacritic around 90. It isn't that we "hate" Watchdogs. It is that we don't see why anyone would pay full price when it is now a known quantity ... "mediocre".
Watch some videos on YouTube. The graphics look really good
Wii U version looks really good... to bad it came late to the party!
