The multiplayer matchmaking from Halo: The Master Chief Collection could also be on this list.

tacotruck3862d ago

I think the fact that more games could be included is indicative of a pretty big problem.

TenBensons3862d ago

Yep it's doing a driveclub lol

wynams3862d ago

picked the wrong week to bitch about vidya releases imo ... best Tuesday evah!

TenBensons3862d ago

It's about the quality of the final product and this year has been terrible for games with bugs (and a few that are broken). It might be a congested month but we shouldn't let this stuff go by without comment.

Palitera3862d ago

Actually, think about the games released today:
1. GTA 5 player profile transfer was released absolutely bugged.
2. LBP3, as far as IGN's review tells, is very glitchy.

DoctorJones3862d ago

There's been a load of great games released this year, I haven't had any complaints. I'll leave that to the little bitchy whiners.

anticlimax3862d ago

Not about great games, more about day 1 (and day 2 and 3) patches, server problems, etc.

Game developers really need to get their stuff together man

Game breaking bugs, glitches, and multiplayer/online matchmaking not working in MANY 2014 game releases, this is just ridiclous

make your games right the first time, not let's patch it after it's released crap

HAMM3RofBUDDHA3862d ago

I'm cool with a glitch here or there, but game breaking bugs are inexcusable.

user56695103862d ago

well its been great on pc. maybe because we dont overhype everything and we're not desperate for games. the amount of killer rpgs dropped this year is keep me from investing in another overhyped annual franchise.

Maxor3862d ago (Edited 3862d ago )

The PC is going through a RPG Renaissance. Between Divinity: Original Sin, Wasteland 2 and Dragon Age: Inquis there is no shortage of games to play. As a matter of fact my Steam backlog is simply staggering.

Classic PS4 Racer DriveClub Is Now a Decade Old

PushSquare:

DriveClub, the legendary PS4 racer from shuttered Runcorn studio Evolution, has such an interesting story.

Originally announced alongside the PS4, the game had been intended as a launch title – we even played it in a big London church Sony had rented to showcase the new system prior to its release.

Evolution was done dirty... DC is still the most stunning visual game of its generation. They certainly deserved better in the end.

VenomUK249d ago (Edited 249d ago )

DriveClub was pretty and I loved the experience of driving in the rain, it was immersive. I had some good races with people from an old forum, but at times I found it to be a bit boring. MotorStorm was such a fun game to play and I loved the controls - it would make sense to remaster that.

DarXyde249d ago

I'd give the visual showcase award of the last generation to The Order: 1886. That game was immaculate.

Uncharted 4 was also absolutely insane, and perhaps manages to use the PS4's power in extremely clever ways.

jznrpg249d ago

It didn’t get good reviews unfortunately

obidanshinobi249d ago

Cause the game was mediocre at best, and surpassed in pretty much every area by Forza Horizon 2.

IRetrouk249d ago

Apart from visuals, driving model, weather effects, only thing forza had was an open world...

Inverno249d ago (Edited 249d ago )

It's multiplayer component was the only thing struggling at launch but the game was still perfectly playable offline. Done dirty is an understatement because how many games after came out with broken online components that got a pass? Now games with an SP and MP get separate reviews for SP and MP smh! SONY shut them down as if Evo had been bleeding money instead of putting out great games. Their fate was undeserved and they were the targets of a media smear campaign due to that one trailer.

Loved it.
Now here's a game that would benefit from a remaster.
4K, 60 FPS
I'd buy it.

ravens52249d ago

Might have to fire it up. Got it day 1, it was great to me.

outsider1624249d ago

See? Another reason why physical is important. Going all digital will have you miss out games like this.

Gabrielmpf249d ago

I loved tackling the leaderboards. It's a shame they couldn't even keep them.

Yi-Long249d ago

Brilliant game, I really miss it, and it deserved so much better than what Sony did to it.
Most important reason I liked it; It was FUN. That’s it. The actual gameplay, throwing a car around corners, the challenging AI opponents, the entertaining tracks which were peak-design, etc etc, it was above all just FUN to play.
