Projectile Entertainment has launched a crowd-funding campaign for "Momentum"; this 3D physics platformer tests the personal computer users' capabilities of skillfully maneuvering a ball through labyrinth courses in midair. Interested spectators can download a digital demo to balance the ball by taking advantage of gravity.
Gareth writes - "In the good old days when I was a nipper, you’d be lucky to get an old tangerine, a piece of coal and a small wooden analogue game where you negotiate a marble around a small maze for Christmas. That’s what we did for fun in those days you see. Then, as those darn computers arrived, that wooden game of skill went digital, turning into games like Marble Madness, where you’d be left to do the same thing but in virtual form."
Very tempted to grab this for the times when I just want something nice and relaxing. Any idea when it's coming to the UK?
Guiding spheres through stages has been enjoyable ever since the 1984 arcade classic Marble Madness. Here we have a new take on the genre so let's see how it lives up to its ancestors.
