Destructoid:
"Do you live for the thrill of belting out your favorite songs whenever you've got five minutes to yourself? Are you an amateur singer looking for guidance, or a professional looking for something fun to brush up your vocal technique? Do you love NBC's The Voice? Then go out right now and pick up Rock Band 3 or Guitar Hero 5. Or, get a karaoke machine and a vocal coach. Whatever the case, you're going to absolutely loathe The Voice: I Want You."
NLife:
"Since American Idol first graced the airwaves back in 2002, a number of similar shows have stepped up to deliver the singing superstar search process season after season, including - since 2011 - NBC's The Voice. In this Wii U title based on the show, The Voice translates into a karaoke game with a tournament structure, a soundtrack split between rock, pop, R&B, and country, and a welcome suite of exercises for real-life vocal training. A spectacularly generic presentation and lack of personality hold it back from a star performance, but fans of the show - and singers interested in improving their pipes - will still find some fun on this stage."
IRB Gamer: "For anyone that just wants to learn how to sing, The Voice was made for you. Running through the season, quick play and most importantly utilizing the vocal coach, this is an extremely fun game."
Activision has a new singing title coming to Wii U, Wii, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
So this is good enough... this will sell well, right? How dumb are these dev studios? They try something, but have no luck doing this with nintendo. If turd arties pulled this crap on the other consoles, it might work, but Nintendo is able to live on its own, having turd party is nice, but not a vital part for nintendo, for the others it is vital.
This is how third parties support nintendo now? With Shovelware crap like this?
I will pick this up for my little cousins to play on my Wii U, they love singing and since it got a mode where it teach you breathing and etc, this may help sing better, even though they already sing good, more practice would not hurt
