Here's a review of all three free PS4 games for November.
The online multiplayer beta for The Binding of Isaac is offline until further notice after someone data-mined the latest build.
From IGN: "Thunderful Games has four separate SteamWorld games in development with three expected to launch next year.
The company revealed during its latest financial results that SteamWorld Headhunter - a third person action adventure that was revealed in November - is just one of four different genres the SteamWorld franchise is exploring. It is expected to launch in 2023, along with two others.
Those two, codenamed 'Strawberry' and 'Coffee', will be followed in 2024 by 'Caramel'. Are all listed as "SteamWorld IP" games, with Strawberry and Coffee actually listed before Headhunter in Thunderful's development timeline."
Coolest news in a while ! Steamworld games are always the best! Steamwrold Dig,Dig 2, Steamworld Quest and Steamworld Heist are all fabulous games !!
IGN : Ask three different video game fans to define what a “Roguelike” is, and chances are, you’re likely to get three very different responses: One might say "Oh yeah, those are like that game with the sexy greek gods!" Another might reply "No, you idiot, Hades is a Rogue-LITE. A roguelike is a game like Spelunky." And another still might slam their hands on the table and shout, "The reason why they're called rogueLIKES is because they're LIKE the 1980s dungeon crawler rogue. None of those games are roguelikes at all!"
My daughter and I had a blast with Rogue Legacy - our favorite by far.
We also enjoyed Undermine which I didn't see make this list unfortunately.
To me Binding of Isaac is the GOAT. No two runs in that game feel the same. The unlimited combinations of item synergies is still something no game has been able to match.
Man, Binding of Isaac... That's all I have to say. I put over 40 hours into the original game on Steam. Playing it on my Vita though? I didn't expect to sink so much time into this game again. I can't help going back to it over and over. Such an awesome game.
Hated Binding of Isaac but Luftrausers has been amazing fun. Played a couple hours without even realizing it the other night trying to go for just one more unlock lol
