In our ongoing quest to find the greatest and most beloved Mario Kart game, we've wrapped up the first portion of our bracket, with four titles having advanced on. Mario Kart 64 took a victory lap along with Double Dash!! and Mario Kart Wii. In the fourth round, the most landlside decision yet, Mario Kart 8 crushed Mario Kart 7, in an 87% vote for the HD version, and advanced on to the semifinals
Even the biggest Xbox and PlayStation fans are jealous of Mario Kart. Thankfully, there are some decent alternatives for both camps.

Sony had the best one in Mod Nation Racers on PS3. That was a fantastic kart racer with great creation tools that allowed you to create/customize characters, vehicles, and tracks! Plus I liked that the game gave you the choice to expend power ups as either weapons, shields, or speed boost. It added an element of strategy not typically found in other Kart Racers. I would LOVE for Sony to bring that IP back!
