New Trailer of Xenoblade Chronicles X Shows Open World Gameplay Similar To Grand Theft Auto

The most anticipated JRPG game on WiiU console, Xenoblade Chronicles X, is going to be released soon. In the newest trailer from the game developer, you can see many interesting things in this game, including the open world gameplay similar to Grand Theft Auto series.

The story is too old to be commented.

What? So GTA owns the rights to realistic modern cities? -.-

I like how it's "GTA" because it's Open World with a City based on Los Angeles. I guess there are cars, and maybe you can drive them, but you won't be able to hurt anyone. I think that's it.

Oh and you can take quests from most people in the city (oh wait, every Open World game does that)

I guess the more comparisons and coverage the game gets the better, but don't think this is GTA for a second. This is the action JRPG game you want.

It's a marketing tactic. Because god knows you can't like a game without a frame of reference.

Nintendo aint the one comparing it. I imagine they like to keep their distance from GTA.

This is the second story I've seen where they compare the two. Huh??? I just don't see it. I also don't think they have shown enough to even warrant that kind of a statement.

It's probably the same "very intelligent" people who compared the new Legend of Zelda (WiiU) to Skyrim, you know after they only showed the teaser and said they are using Zelda 1 as inspiration for the type of open world they want...but you know Skyrim is the only fantasy open world game ever.

I'm not really seeing the GTAness. I mean, It's got a bunch people walking around in a city that you can also moe around in. I think maybe the game is pulling that from the history of RPGness rather than GTA.
