Allisa James from DualShockers reviews the long anticipated Fantasy Life, developed by Level-5 and published by Nintendo for 3DS. Find out whether this ambitious RPG was worth the wait or should have stayed in development hell.
This game is something else. It's a single player (or co-op if you wish) game with MMO elements. I've completed the story for both the main game and expansion pack with close to 60 hours clocked and still have tons of stuff to do. It can feel "grindy" at times, but that's part of the fun, especially with friends. There's so much content packed in this 3DS title. Really hoping to see a sequel in the future.
That's how I feel as well. Level 5 really packed in tons of amazing content and it's so well balanced. I was struck at how deep the economy was--with the addition of an online market place, it would literally be at the level of an MMO.
I love Level-5
level 5 did it again
Yes they did.
Rune Factory has some big time competition. This game rules!
It's true! When I first wrote my preview, the game felt a bit like Rune Factory. Actually reviewing it made me realize how much more polished Fantasy Life is than RF (and I love that game too). The next RF better step up its game.
