IM PLAYIN discuss why it's a good idea to pick up GTAV on the next-gen consoles and PC.
It's the only next gen game worth bothering with at the minute.
I'd argue that Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age Inquisition are also worth bothering with. If you have limited cash flow though, it's going to be a really tough November. :)
Yeah a man see FC4 and LBP3 being very limited on last gen hardware. Everyone should wait until they have a next gen machine or buy one to get those games!
lol y'all got bad gaming tastes. FC4, GTA5, and LBP? LBP with friends then I understand though.
Yeah it is extremely hard to choose which three PS4 games to get with Target's buy two get one free. LB3 is a given but I cannot decide on the other two.
After seeing gta5 on ps4 I forgot about the rest of the games comeing.Seriously
If you think that way then you ain't a true gamer.
Because Sunset Overdrive, Bayonetta 2, Far Cry 4, Shadow of Mordor, Infamous Second Son, Smash Bros, Master Chief Collection don't exist what so ever...
For me the 30 player limit online is the deciding factor. If they can fix the matchmaking that is (and for the love of god make free aim the default option) since the free aim lobbies have almost always been a ghost town.
You do have to remember The First Person Aspect now!!! First person is very hard to play without assisted aiming on a console.
cause I haven't play it yet
A man always wants the best possible version of a game on consoles. Also it really doesn't cost that much for all the upgrades you're getting. Think about it. You sell your old gen version (as long as you didn't buy digitally which you shouldn't have) for $30-$40 and you get the next gen version for $20-30. Not bad at all.
I really liked gta 5, the day I beat it gta 5 ps4 came out the next day and I never touched my ps3 or gta 5 again. So lots of stuff to do in gta 5 next-gen version.
Yeah I never finished it because the PS4 came out shortly after the game released. I still have it but never came back to it. My PS3 is for netflix and the kids, so GTA5 will be awesome to jump back on and finish on the new console. I can see not getting it if you played it and finished it. But for those like me we have tons to do and can't wait.
Dude, the free content from the updates is gonna be a pretty nice treat for you then.
I regret bothering with it the first time.
may i ask why?
Archaic design in some area's, like Mash X to sprint, story was disjointed and not very well put together. And the humor was just bad, immature and not very clever. But this most likely is just on me as I prefer a more subtle humor as apposed to direct. Things like the "Car Insurance" online kept you from driving what you enjoyed by making money so hard to get that you can't pay it off. Stealing cars is out since cops just know the moment they see you and start chasing. And combine that with, by far the worst create a character I have ever used.
I think its just going to make me Enjoy this new version all that much more, because ill know exactly what's been improved. Not just what R* is advertising. The texture pop in was a big problem for me sometimes. Especially for online.
I am going to buy it and then play it
Yes, I would recommend playing it after you buy it...
Hmm... so lemme get this straight... you buy it... Then play it after that?.... Not sure what you mean sir.
I haven't played it yet, and FPS mode is making this game even more attractive to me.
Gtav should be my ideal game, open world shit loads to do but like all gta games I played I got board after a month and never went back so I miss the new version
You became a board after a month? I don't think you were playing a game!
I would suggest that a months worth of entertainment is pretty great value.
Why should I bother reading your obviously biased crap?
1. Better Performance 2. Steam and Xbox One Mod support (Microsoft did announce mod support right?) and 3. Why not?
Mod support was never announced for the console version. Plus why did you say Microsoft instead of Rock star? Its up to the developers to allow mod support on consoles not Microsoft.
bcuz its upto the Console devs to allow actual mod support as in getting mods from their "workshop". and also, i guess it was just a rumour after all. I dont play console so i dont pay attention to this stuff. i just play PC
I'm getting it because I love GTA games and I never played this one before. I'm glad I didn't get it for my PS3.
I will get this and LBP3. Two of the best ps4 games on the same day!
Just like a few comments up said they're glad they didn't play it on PS3... I wish I didn't. I played it until I was burned out, picked it up again, went nuts, and rode through another burn out. Things change quick though, you just never know when you'll get that urge to play a certain game and when I do, I'll probably re-buy it on PS4.
I'm gonna get it, will be fun to play it in first person as well and I love the story but I will be mostly playing Halo on my Xbox One :)
I played the heck out of it on PS3 and will be itching to play it again on PS4 but I can wait until I have played other games I am excited for. I have Assassins Creed and LBP3 pre ordered for now and will be looking to play Farcry and Dragon Age before I revisit GTA5, great time to be a gamer, utterly spoilt for choice, so many fab games to enjoy.
I 100% last gen version. Hoping i could be the one to unlock the jet pack, o how was i mistaken. Spent many many hours in san Andreas. To be honest though i can not wait to do it all over again. Stoked!
Why bother with this article? Why bother with this website?
Like TLOU: R, I wanna play it again.
Honestly, I think the early PS3 years were better than the early PS4 stage we're in now. Sure, there weren't many games on the PS3, but what games it did have were new and unique. Nowadays, it's all ports.
I've not played it. So, this gen will be sooo KooooooL
Never got for the 360. I am going to buy the PC version for the mods, that will come out later on.
Why bother? Cause a good chunk of people decided to hold out and not get a version that struggles to hold 30FPS.
why bother with Click-Bait?
I wish Rockstar would have remastered GTA4. I love that game. I really enjoyed GTA5 as well, especially Trevor's gun battles with meth dealers in the deserts. That being said, I feel like GTA 4 for me was just more fun to play. The story felt darker and more compelling and the gameplay/physics are crazy. Also, the characters were better overall. Really looking forward to this too though, GTA5 had some quality missions that can be played over and over.
I played every single gta since 2. When 4 came I was really unsure if it was worth it. Turns out it wasn't. When 5 was announced I told myself I wasn't gonna get it, but the absurd hype and promises of a better online mode got me on board. I was even more disappointed in it. Sorry, this time I'm done. Rather wait on a new fallout for an open world game.
