Yeah, lets hope Ubisoft have finally learnt their lesson. We don't want anymore 'parity' nonsense dumbing down our games. Whatever though, The Division is still one one my most anticipated games of 2015.

Hell yeah. I what to remember tom clancy for his genius work when I play this master piece at the most highest quality my PS4 can output. make this happen UBI.

ScorpiusX1536d ago

He's been dead for sometime now , so remembering is bit over dramatic for a statement. Beside the man only created Redstrom studios and hasn't been involved with the making of a game since the early GR.

I have a ps4 and personally very glad that the PC won't be dumbed down for consoles because in all honesty, I don't give a sh!t about the PC version since I don't plan on getting or playing it on that platform.
As long as the PS4 version is at it's best, that's what matters more to me so hopefully this parity crap no longer continues this Gen...

hello121536d ago

Of course its all parity to you guys even though Call of Duty on PS4 drops more frames at 1080p on PS4 lowest frame recorded was 33- 40 sometimes to 50 range been average. X box 1 never dropped that low even though it was outputting at a lower resolution.

Your favourite people over at DF have just concluded a frame test of the Evolve Alpha on x box 1 and PS4. Ps4 version again has more frame rate drops lowest 23 i saw and stuttering, x box 1 is better again with frame rate.

How can you claim Ubsisoft went for parity when games are clearly dropping more frames on PS4 at 1080p. Sacrificing frame rate for resolution, thats acceptable now?

"X box 1 never dropped that low even though it was outputting at a lower resolution."

Did you just try and say that a lower resolution should demand more resources than a higher resolution?

My brain is full of WTF right now.

Demand wise, the higher the resolution, the more the system will be taxed. Lower frames can be a result.
They also patched CoD Ghosts to fix this issue less than a month after its release. This isn't a good argument.

COD: 'Overall, the PS4's superior image quality compared with Xbox One makes it the choice pick on the multiplayer front, with both holding up here at 60fps. As for the campaign mode's playability, it's an apples and oranges contest between the Xbox One's performance lead and the PS4's resolution advantages'
Evolve is not the final version

Aquariusgamer1536d ago (Edited 1536d ago )

yeah the x1 version of advanced warfare has screen tearing. that's an absolute deal breaker, so no thanks on that. also, the x1 version of aw has the reduced resolution always in effect during multiplayer. no res scaling there, sub 1080p always.

also, the lowest drop for ps4 is 46 per eurogamer, so that's not even that bad. multiplayer is full 1080p/60 fps no drops.

I do wonder though why the dynamic resolution wasn't included on the ps4 version of advanced warfare though for the campaign to deal with frame drops. that's seems rather odd.

after numerous number of titles and numerous critism from gamers and journalist,i doubt ubisoft learnt their lesson

what important to them is as long their game sold millions of copies

jhoward5851537d ago (Edited 1537d ago )

Ok UBI why don't you just tell us what those improvements are so gamers can get a better idea.

Is the PS4 getting better AA, higher quality textures, improved effects, etc. WHAT??

TRD4L1fe1536d ago

im more interested in learning more about the story and gameplay mechanics and how seamless the multiplayer will be. dont you think that's more important?

LazyMinion1536d ago

Don't be silly. The gameplay doesn't matter, only graphics

SaveFerris1537d ago

I guess we'll wait and see then, huh?

Play2Win1536d ago

I jugde UBI when I read about how Unity and Far Cry 4 will perform on PC when they test it. I hope they have learned from Watch Dogs.

Activemessiah1536d ago

proof rather than empty promises

MysticStrummer1536d ago

No it's true, but the specs also won't be raised for PC. Can't make everyone happy. That would be bad business.
