Assassin's Creed: Rising Phoenix "Coming Soon" According To Assassin's Creed: Rogue Easter Egg

PS Vita Blog: "An Assassin’s Creed: Rogue walkthrough reveals a neat easter egg in Ubisoft’s upcoming PC/PS3/360 game. A poster in Abstergo clearly reads “Assassin’s Creed: Rising Phoenix Coming Soon”.

Assassin’s Creed: Rising Pheonix has a history. Allegedly, an image leaked in early 2013 from Ubisoft’s Digital Arts division that contained the Rising Phoenix name and some concept art. That same year a Spanish retailer listed Rising Phoenix for an October release on PS Vita. Giving some validity to the previous claims, the same Rising Pheonix logo was then seen on a wall in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

The only Assassin’s Creed game on PS Vita, Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, was developed by Ubisoft Sofia. The Bulgarian studio assisted in the development of Black Flag and are the lead studio on Assassin’s Creed: Rogue."

Interesting, wonder what it could be. Thought Rising Pheonix leak was confirmed as a hoax tho.

They might just be joking around, playing off the earlier rumors or supposed leaks.

No.Pls be it a full blown Next Gen title!!

There's Unity though... Isn't that a PS4/X1/PC title? I'd love to see them really dig into the Vita hardware, and make an awesome open-world game.

By the way,Rogue is out.More like an early leak.

How many AC games does there need to be!?
Could have been my favourite game series ever if it was a trilogy where ACIII was a Watchdog-esque game starring Desmond and the story was contained within those three games.

Too bad it got so popular and Ubisoft saw the $ sign.

That is their intention . They wanted 1 of their franchises to be popular and then milk it . Sequels likely to cost less to make than a new IP but also make more profit as the popular franchise has more fans .

At the end of the day big companies need profits , without it they'll go bankrupt and they sure as hell don't want that .

Back 2 topic : IF this's going to be announced at Ps Exp for the Vita then i'm a happy man :]

The game would sell like hotcakes because all the people who are asking for western AAA would buy the hell out of it. If they bundle it with Vita then it would keep the Vita at a healthy spot in sales for a few months.

HentaiMasterRace3838d ago

That would be cool if it was for Vita, but I'm pretty sure that's not the case, then again, Liberation sold a lot on Vita.

One of the three only million retail sellers on Vita. It actually is the 2nd best selling Vita game under Uncharted. :D It's just that there is a widespread hate for Vita I can't understand. This can be among developers and consumers alike. I wish more would see it's a fantastic handheld with a lot of potential.
