Two New Microsoft Titles (and more) to be Announced at E3

Geekpulp writes - In the process of setting up my schedule for E3 Microsoft has made contact to book in some time to view their games. On the list are the games that we already know about as well as three slots left open without specific details.

Sure, one will be KI3, and the other will probably be the next Halo installment. 360 can't survive w/o a Halo or Gears game coming out once a year - and no, Halo Wars doesn't count. Anyway you cut it, 2 titles isn't that many to be unvieling.

Is another Crimson Skies too much to ask for!?

I think I'm more excited to hear what Sony is going to announce. I know they're going to be announcing 2 mmo's, let alone whatever else they have in store(GoW3,TwistedMetal,R& C2). All I really care about is the new TEAM ICO project, as long as they announce that I'm cool.

also, you say sony "mite" be announcing two mmo's. which is quite good! although they ont probably hit til 2010 at the earliest.

whereas the 360 has three mmo's which are releasing in 2009!!! if you wasn't a fanboy, you would know that already! no run along and find a ps3 thread please!

I understand why you loved the PS2 so much, and why everyone else did as well. I know cause I had 5 PS2's myself. It came out first before Xbox and Gamecube! It had more games! Developers had the time to get used to the(at first) complicated technology, and then the PS2 took off like a rocket, and had all these different games to buy that there was something for everyone! The console sales rose because people loved the system, and because people kept having to re-buy the system cause it kept failing(Disc Read Error), but it just never became as widely knows as the sony fanboy cry...."RROD"....! But whatever the matter, sony had all the cards in their favor and won! This gen it looks like Nintendo and MS have learned a valuable lesson, and have tried to cut off sony's strong points. I think this will be a more balanced battle this time around, and you and the coalition should accept the fact that it may not turn out the way you want!

Last gen the ps2 was the weakest console(power wise), had all the games and had alot of the best exclusives, and was at a cheaper price!
This time, The Wii is cheaper, the 360 has the most games, and those two are either taking exclusives from sony, or getting them to go multi-plat. Ps3 is the most powerful, but that didn't help the xbox last gen when it was more powerful. Not to mention ps3 is the most expensive! If you look at the facts with an unbiased view... you can see what i'm talking about, and you would realize that sony is not going to magically just take over in the face of stiff competition!

In all honesty, I hope all three companies stay around the same level, because it means they will have to try harder, and we will get some great things out of their competition! You should hope so too

.....going to be some exciting news i recon. Both Sony and Microsoft will surprise us all with what they reveal. Good times ahead. I recon KI3 is a dead cert. But who knows.

This is what I am talking about right here. Microsoft coming thru with new games and info for E-3 for all of it's consumers! unlike Sony, Micro knows what the delio is. Too bad Sony will be stuck 3 years in the past showing off

Man that is a whole lot of 2's when all Microsoft has to show in 1 two and that's Gears of War 2. Maybe Sony will get it together next year, huh? Maybe next year will be the year of Sony!!

haven't heard of anything in regards to Mech Assault or Crimson Skies in a long time. Not that it would be console specific, but something regarding Battlefront 3 would also be nice.

If this newton controller really does exist, then I hope these aren't spaces reserved for games for it. Nor Scene It 2.

I hope some of the games Microsoft will be showing will have demos for MS Bringing it Home this year. I also really hope MS show of both games for this year and next year this time around. Even if next year games is nothing but a combined video of what's to come. Nothing they showed last year was a surprise to anyone.

Oh yeah, 360/PS3 version of Monster Hunter would be an cool anouncement.

I'm starting to get the feeling Diablo III might be cross-platform PC/360 and considered an exclusive for microsoft. It would make sense since the 360 is much more pc-port friendly.

This will never happen. Blizzard is the type of company that will spend 6 months on a beta, in other words they hone their games like a razor. In order to achieve the perfection they're used to on a multiplat game Diablo 3 probably won't be out in the next three years and they've spent the last decade building, scraping then rebuilding this game until they're ready to announce it to the masses.
