Graphics parity, it is a term that many gamers have come to dislike. The fact that Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Unity will be set in at 900p resolution and 30fps on both PS4 and Xbox One — when the PS4 can handle 1080p and 60 fps, has ruffled some feathers. Those who take issue with it feel cheated; that the PS4 version (their version) of the game is being held back due to the limitations, of its slightly less powerful competitor. Some have even declared a boycott of the game because of it.
Now some fans are upset that the same thing is happening with the PS4 and Xbox One versions of WWE 2K15.
I've updated my post to hopefully make it a little clearer for those who are confused.
The whole point of this post was to prove to those, who were under the impression that the PS4 version of 2K15 had been dumbed down, that their assumption was false.
There is no graphics parity between the two, both were able to achieve identical resolution without one being compromised.
It is only referred to as "Graphics parity", when there is compromise in order to achieve similarity.
