Nintendo Japan posted a great comparison video today, showcasing the differences between the original Pokémon Sapphire/Ruby versions and the new re-release Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire.
The original names of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire have allegedly been uncovered, with the old names sounding pretty familiar.

Swap OoT for Majoras Mask and Pokemon for Xenoblade Chronicles and you might be on to something with this list.
Hardcore Gamer: It’s been awhile since we’ve gotten to see characters from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. Years ago the release of Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby were a big hit. Most recently however, you could battle leaders of Team Aqua and Team Magma in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. So, maybe that’s why a couple of new 3DS themes are being released.
