It didn’t sell as much as the newest Call of Duty but thanks to some watertight combat and an entire marketing campaign showing off Bayonetta, both in terms of sex appeal and her ability to kick tail, an audience came. When you have very eloquent arguments on both sides about whether or not your main character is actually a brilliant example of adult empowerment done right or a poster child for teenage pandering, it’s clear an impression has been made."
