Holobunnies Bounces Toward Wii U

Marcus Estrada writes: "Do you happen to have an affinity toward adventurous sidescrollers and bunnies? If so, Holobunnies might be the game you’ve been waiting for! Developed by Montreal-based q-bit games, Holobunnies features a cast of four rabbits who one day find that some evil creature has stolen the eyes of their precious pet Machete. Apparently they can still live without eyes… but it’s really creepy looking."

Successful Kickstarter Videogame Campaigns and Analysis for April 2015

Marcus Estrada writes: "March was an absolutely wonderful month for Kickstarter projects. Over the span of 30 days there were 35 video gaming campaigns that succeeded! Some were lucky enough to raise funds hand over fist, while others barely made it. No matter what, each met their funding goal and that is always great to hear. So how did April follow up? In all, 17 campaigns found success. It’s a bit of a let down, even though the campaigns which did succeed are pretty darn lovely. This drop off feels significant, though. After all, it’s a little less than half the amount of campaigns! What changed this month? One aspect that stood out was a lack of many super funded campaigns. But, we’re not at the analysis portion yet! First, here are the highlighted campaigns for April."

The Adorableness of Holobunnies Returns

Marcus Estrada writes: "Holobunnies is a game about cute bunnies which travel through space and time. Once on a planet you'll be tasked with exploring the world via action platformer mechanics. There will be bosses, but they're nothing our intrepid bunnies can't handle! By finding carrots and other collectibles you'll be able to upgrade the spaceship, bunny appearance, and equipment. Each bunny has their own special skill as well as adorable look. Each of the playable cast members will also receive voice acting, which is pretty cool. You'll be able to play through in single player or co-op, though if you're looking for a multiplayer battle arena that's included in the stretch goals."
