Alien: Isolation is a great game. The game is a huge love letter to the original Alien film and is effectively a truer sequel to that movie than Aliens was.
The game’s homage to Alien didn’t just end with recreating that film’s atmosphere however. There are two DLCs for it which let you play as the members of the Nostromo crew. This DLC is called Crew Expendable and is a “what if” of sorts. The game takes place shortly after the Alien is born and after it has killed two of the crew members. The survivors hatch a plan of trapping it in an airlock and this is where the game begins.

The Helldivers 2 players have done a wonderful job with the Major Order, but why will it likely fail? They need to change the strategy.
I like how they used the first ALien movie as a blueprint for this game. Very different than all the alien games we've gotten for almost the past 10 or more years. Wonder if they'll do another title in the same vein.
Ah. Good game and great article!
I still haven't had a chance to check out this game but I definitely plan to in the near future. Seeing some of the mixed reviews peaked my interest further as I'm sure this game is far better than that Colonial Marines trash SEGA released last year. For that reason and that reason alone, I'm definitely willing to try this game out.
I'm on the fence with this one. I'll what the new year brings.
