"A rather succinct (albeit crude) way to describe Gunscape would be a love letter to the entire FPS genre. At its core Gunscape plays out like a classic arena-style shoot-em-up – such as Quake III Arena – including typical game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Free-For-All and CTF (Capture The Fish.) But Gunscape is so much more, with Blowfish Studios preferring to label its game a “FPS Construction Kit.” Indeed, Blowfish Studios is putting a massive focus on the community with creating, editing and sharing player developed maps integral to the experience." - Grab It
"The Sydney-based (Australia) award-winning indie games developer and publisher Blowfish Studios, today announced with great delight and thrill that their world-building retro FPS game "Gunscape" (which is inspired by classic 90s FPS games), is now available for the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo Eshop." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
Neil writes "Digerati and tinyBuild have both delivered an Xbox One bundle pack or two in recent days, but now it's the time of Blowfish to get in on the act. But how does the Blowfish Bundle #1 stack up?"
James writes - "First-person shooter and world-building hybrid Gunscape has been expanded with its first DLC pack, which is sure to bring a new level of tension to proceedings."
Stunning idea - I can't imagine what nine-player splitscreen is like, but I really want to know!
Heard quite a bit about this one. Looking forward to seeing the final product
Most FPS I ever played was back in the day with Goldeneye. Recently picked up Destiny which is fantastic though. I like how FPS has been absorbed and bled into other genres like RPG such as Bioshock etc
