Kojima Productions discusses memorable lines from MGS3, and Tamari cries over The Boss's fate

During the 26th episode of Kojima Station, Etsu Tamari, Shuyo Murata and Kenji Yano looked back at Metal Gear Solid 3 while discussing some of the characters and their famous quotes. At the bottom of the screen, they displayed Tamari's 'emotional gauge', and it fills up as he talks about The Boss.

Agreed. I'm playing through it for the first time right now and I'm very impressed. It was really ahead of its time, huh? The stealth and survival elements are incorporated better than in any other game I've played.

And I've been gaming since DOS.

Speaking of the fight with the boss im still impressed with white flowers and her camo, I remember playing on my PS2 doing this fight for the first time it was difficult for me to spot her. That final battle stayed with me as one of the most well done fights I personally had the honor to experience especially during the PS2 era hell even when I replayed it in the HD collection, it still held up nicely.

Without doubt one of the best games ever made. I'd probably be more hyped for a full remaster than I am for Mgs 5!! Still... bring on 5! If it can recapture even just a glimpse of what made this game great, it will be totally worth it.

My favorite scene/line from MGS 3 is actually probably,unorthodox.

It's the Fury's entire intro/death scene, but for some reason when he says, "Mission control, I'm coming home." I get shivers.

Seems dumb, I know... but for some reason I just love that scene.

I didn't like the Metal Gear Solid franchise

I started with MGS 3 cause many say it's the best, so I played that on my Vita with the HD collection. Didn't like it.

Tried MGS 2, didn't like it either and so I gave up.

However, about a month ago, I started playing MGS 1 from the PS 1. I don't know what happened, what clicked for me, but I'm loving it. So I figured, I'll give the others one more chance.

Am loving them now (though still haven't got to MGS 3) and maybe I wasn't in the right mindset, but this means that with MGS 1 down and MGS 2 (I think) almost done, I seriously can't wait to give MGS 3 another try.

That said, the Phantom Pain looks sick and I'm glad I gave the series another try. :p
