Wow this game looks amazing! I'm definitely getting it, and also going into blackout mode. It doesn't seem much different from the souls games to me but that's all right. I do wish they would've changed some of that co op stuff though (stopped watching after that)

just out of curiosity, why does everyone want this game so badly? Sure, it looks solid, but from everything ive seen - which is a lot of coverage - it looks more or less like a typical 3rd person hack n' slash game.

You must not be acquainted with the "Souls" series. They are about as far from hack and slash as action games can get. The series is known for it's expert world building, pinpoint mechanics, and brutal-but-fair difficulty.

Bloodborne is a kind of "spiritual successor" to Demons Souls, the first game in the series.

This and EDF 4.1 are going to be GOAT. The fact that the PS4 is selling incredibly well with only a few exclusives out means that once Bloodborne releases all hell is going to break loose.

Miyazaki is going to absolutely astound us. Wouldn't surprise me if this game was better than Dark Souls.
