Elite: Dangerous Dev Misses Most Wanted, Studio of the Year at Golden Joysticks

VRFocus - Despite huge anticipation for the upcoming release of Elite: Dangerous, the title has missed out on securing the Most Wanted award at this year’s Golden Joystick Awards in London, UK. The developer faced stiff completion from the likes of Evolve, Halo 5: Guardians and overall winner The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. At the same time developer Frontier Developments also missed out on winning the Studio of the Year award.

Let me tell you Elite is awesome and will give StarCitizen some stiff competition but TW3 is just about on every gamers list and outside the PC Gaming community most don't know what space Sims are all about.

So I agree with TW3 wining

CD Project Red deserve their win. They have a very progressive attittude towards DLC and DRM that I hope all the other devs in the industry emulate.

most people didnt know about the witcher until this gen. i remember constantly defending the witch on this site before this gen. i think we know why they are now giving it the credit it deserve. we all know no matter if its amazing or not if its a pc exclusion it doesnt exist in the gaming world or theres something better on console.

Personally I'm not bothered about Frontier Dev missing a few pre-awards, I'm just looking forward to playing it finally upon full release.
