Evil Avatar: Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit Review

Evil Avatar writes: "A little under 7 months ago I reviewed Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for the PS2 here on Evil Avatar. It was actually a pretty good game, but one geared toward people that knew at least a little about the Dragon Ball Z property. The same goes for the first DBZ game to appear on the higher powered systems (360 and PS3), Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit (called DBZ: BL now on). This new title brings better graphics, online play and a more robust fighting system to the table, but what it lacks compared to the last game on the overall content side really brought my enjoyment down a bit."

The Good
+ Graphics are the best seen in the series so far
+ Japanese voiceovers available, lips sync with this over the English voiceovers
+ Smooth gameplay
+ Some really powerful attacks in the later stages
+ Online is here and fun as long as you have a stable connection

The Bad
- Not as many sagas or characters as last game
- Online can become lag filled with any sort of bad connection
- Drama Pieces are utilized badly

The Ugly
- Me when I figured out less sagas were here than last time

They should have gone at least to the Buu saga... I'm gonna go out on a limb here and ask if it is because of the 360 is limiting the storage space since both languages are audible and other blah blah blah blah blah?
