Greg Micek writes: "Anytime you describe a game using Babylon 5 and FTL it's going to get some attention, and Battlestation: Humanity's last hope is no exception. This roguelikeish strategy game allows you to do what many of us nerds have dreamt of for years; running your space station. We recently had an opportunity to speak with Battlestation team lead Aksel Junkkila and ask him about his game, his views on Kickstarter, and of course haiku."
Greg Micek writes: "Every week we take a brief look at all of the Kickstarter campaigns that launched in the previous week. This isn't to say that all of these projects are worth your hard earned cash, but with any luck having all of them in one place will make it easier to educate yourself on the projects you'd like to back, and which ones to run from. This week there were 35 to choose from."
Serena Nelson writes: "In Battlestation: Humanity's Last Hope you're in command of the titular space station presumably orbiting Earth. Humanity has literally outgrown its home planet and set out for the stars. While we've met some aliens out there during our colonization efforts, both benign and aggressive, a strange unknown force has been wiping us out one colony at a time. Enter the construction of the Battlestation and you're role as humanity's last line of defense"
Marcus Estrada writes: "Were you disappointed by the failure of Battlestation: Humanity's Last Hope Kickstarter? You aren't alone. This mix of Babylon 5 and FTL looked downright awesome. It managed to raise around $13,000 which is no small feat, either. Luckily, the game will be making its way back to Kickstarter."
