Ubisoft: "Quick IGN, write an article reminding everyone how great the Assassins Creed franchise is and maybe we can save some face with the latest Assassins Creed Unity debacle and get back some of those cancelled pre-orders. Oh, and here is a bag of money, there'll be more where that came from if your article actually works".

Click on the link.. do yourself the favor...
It's not exactly the IGN you think it is

johndoe112111461d ago

I did click on the link and read the entire article before I commented. did I get something wrong? Is the name of the site not IGN?

chaldo1461d ago

The name of the site is IGN, but again, it's not the IGN you are thinking of (if you haven't already figured it out).

It's completely different from

johndoe112111461d ago

Again, What does that have to do with anything? I did click on the link, I did read the article and I used the correct name of the site in my comment. I don't care nor does it matter which IGN that site is. It is irrelevant if the letters stood for International Gucci Necklaces, the fact is wwhen I wrote IGN I was 100% right. It does not matter which IGN it is and I am fully aware which IGN it is and isn't.

Whoa dude, no need to get all defensive. I just thought you were confused because of your first comment

"Ubisoft: "Quick IGN, write an article reminding everyone how great the Assassins Creed franchise is and maybe we can save some face with the latest Assassins Creed Unity debacle"

Some of us thought you were referring to . Not sure why anyone would think you were referring to THIS unknown IGN, because it wouldn't make sense.

johndoe112111461d ago (Edited 1461d ago )

I am not getting defensive. What I am trying to show you all is that it doesn't matter which IGN I was referring to. The name of the site is IGN and I referenced it as such. Anyone clicking on the link can see it is not the IGN that we are used to but it still doesn't change the fact the site is IGN. People telling me what I was or wasn't referring to are the ones who need to check their statements because they are unnecessary and irrelevant. Trust me, I'm not mad. I was just trying to explain a point that some people didn't seem to understand.

starchild1460d ago (Edited 1460d ago )

Yeah right, you're doing damage control on your idiotic comment.

It would make no sense for Ubisoft to pay some unkown site to say something good about the sales of the Assassin's Creed series. Virtually nobody is even going to read this article, and most people already know how successful the series is.

But your comment would have been stupid even if it had been

There is no Ubisoft debacle except in the minds of a very tiny minority of fanboys with pea-sized brains. The vast majority of people are looking forward to Assassin's Creed Unity and they know that it looks fantastic and will look great on all three platforms. It will look best on PC, then PS4 and then XB1, but the important thing is that it is shaping up to be a really great game.

Your hate campaign is shameful.

I'm guessing the 12 games at 18 million are lumped together mobile games.

Regis1461d ago

Still sold more than the Halo franchise thats an achievement.

Didn't an article say halo reached 60 million?

mokkeyrg21460d ago

halos a exclusive game not multiplat so for halo to do 70mil thats big!

TomahawkX1461d ago

funny this site is named ign as well lol.

StrawberryDiesel4201461d ago

Looks like this is why they get annual releases. I haven't played one since the original, I just lost interest in the franchise. I may check out the new one on PS4, it looks promising.

chaldo1461d ago

Well then you missed out on the 2nd one because that was a BIG leap over the first.

TheStrokes1461d ago

I got bored after brotherhood. I tried to finish AC3 but after around 9 hours, I just gave up. I'd like to think Unity will go back to its best... But I'm losing faith in ubisoft.

RedDevils1460d ago (Edited 1460d ago )

I haven't brought 1 since ac2 I brought the game from Gamestop where you get those 7 days return which cost you nothing it allow to me to finished the game without paying for it lol
