Sony’s Xperia Z2 phone, Z2 Tablet, Z3, Z3 Compact and Z3 Tablet Compact are all expected to all offer Remote Play connectivity for the PlayStation 4.
The Sony line of mobile and tablet devices, the Z2 and Z3 series, are going to offer video game-streaming/Remote Play for the PlayStation 4, Gizmodo reports. Sony already announced last month that the Z3 series would be able to offer Remote Play for the PS4, but the last generation of Xperia Z2 phones and Z2 tablets will be getting this function as well. PS4 Remote Play is expected to be a part of the Z2′s Android 4.4.4 update, which is expected to launch sometime within the next month. Since the Z2 series is only 6 months old and not much different from the Z3, we really hope the Z2 series gets Remote Play — it would save money on buying a Vita.
PSLS writes: I have traveled across the country using the Razer Kishi Ultra in airports and hotels for both PlayStation Remote Play and mobile gaming in general, and I am thoroughly impressed.
Fallout 4 is now available on next-gen consoles, offering 60fps gameplay and 4K resolution. But it's bad news if you claimed the game on PS Plus.
Probably won't happen for PS+ since Sony makes a clear distinction between a PS4 game and a PS5 game, unlike PC and Xbox where it is not a specific device game (It's now always an Xbox game).
So to make the PS5 game of fallout 4 available. Bethesda would need to renegotiate the complete deal with Sony.
hence why there's often only the PS4 version of the game available on PS+.
Let's hope Bethesda and Sony can arrive to term quickly.
From Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, Sand Land is a fun adaptation of the manga and anime in videogame form. For all of its simplicity and repetition, it's a beautiful interpretation of the source material.
It's really awesome that I can use remote play on my Xperia Z2 as well but I'll just stick with my Vita. Don't want to spend $40 on a mount.
My Z3 is bought and on the way.
I think I will skip this, I hate Sony mobiles.
If only it could be used on all mobiles :(
Good. As it should. Bring it to devices that can better take advantage of remote play, compared to the Vita.
