Sean Murray of No Man's Sky teases something for PS4 owners

Hello Games founder Sean Murray is teasing something for PS4 owners saying "...Saw something amazing coming to PS4 owners soon that I probably can't talk about.."

Ok, it's official folks. Whatever this is it's BIG. On an unrelated note, why would he be privy to an unannounced PS4 exclusive? Perhaps they joined Sony?

My money's on it being a new O/S coming with the 2.0 software update.

Well they owe Sony a lot, their first game (Joe Danger) struggled to find a publisher until Sony jumped in. Sean Murray even called XBLA a "slaughterhouse for small developers" (see link) so it wouldn't surprise me if they joined Sony someday.

Sony has been good to Hello games. Funded Joe Danger through the pub fund and then told them it was OK to bring it to XBLA (pub fund = they give the dev money for an exclusive game). Probably why it wasn't too hard to get a timed exclusive from them.

Gamers are hyping No Man's Sky way too much. Hope I don't see a lot of disappointed people when the game launches...

The most overhyped games this gen have been a disappointment: Destiny, Watch Dogs, Ryse, Killzone, Driveclub, etc.

Only Watch Dogs and Destiny got super hyped, everything else was middle ground.

Complaining about hype just shows that you are gullible, if you fall for all the hype its your own fault. Never forget that most of the material that comes from a games company prior to a launch has been crafted to persuade you to spend your money. Its up to you to filter what is actual gameplay and learn to identify bullshots.

Its great to get excited about stuff, it really is, but if all you're doing is fooling yourself then you also need to be ready for anything, including disapointment.

Titanfall should have been on your list of overhype and underdeliver. It was supposed to be a cod killer, and a few months later all you hear is crickets, zip, zero, zilch about it. And hopefully with developers moving out of the launch window, getting more familiar with the new hardware, and fully focusing on current gen instead of developing their games to run on both current and last gen hardware, this hype>reality trend we've seen to this point will change. The concept of No Man's Sky and it's potential is worth the hype, but it remains to be seen if Hello Games can deliver on the promises. I'm certainly hoping they can, as the game is right near the top of my list of most anticipated for 2015, along with Uncharted (won't disappoint), The Division (better not disappoint), The Witcher 3, Arkham Knight, MGS V, Bloodborne, The Order:1886, Star Wars Battlefront, Rime, Wild, The Tomorrow Children, Alienation, Hellblade, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, The Witness, etc. etc. etc.

I buy almost all multiplatform games on PS4 but Fallout and Elder Scrolls will always be PC purchases for me. Can't live without customizeable graphics, better loading times and especially mods :)

yeah i couldn't agree more. i play es on pc only (mods make it rock and making it fresh every time a new one released)

people here thought im hoping that this 2 titles would go ps4 only~well im NOT

dev bragging something big coming on dec. thats why i said "IF IT IS" F4 and ES.
coz thats the only 2 titles i could think of that will make a very OMG moment in gaming history and rage meter go waaay overboard

April 1st 2015 PS4 bundle, includes Shenmue Collection Definitive edition with the new Shenmue 3, FF7 remake (not remastered) and Last Guardian for $699 USD. Also releasing on the same day is the PS4 Morpheus bundle with Alien Isolation, KZ and No Mans Sky compatible versions, for $799 USD ;p
