If FromSoftware's Bloodborne ever gets a sequel—and that's a big if—it won't be able to simply pick up where its predecessor left off.
probably due to some.of the endings true.
but u can still continue it on and subsequently end it for good.
Of course it is already in development. Does anybody seriously think the people responsible for that just sit there for like, five or six years, giving each other hugs and then the supervisor comes in to tell them they have to design a new platform, do the research and stuff? The only good example I can think of right now is the CELL CPU, which has been in development for about seven years before we saw it in the PS3. Anyway, besides hoping that there will be a significant rise in power with the next generation, I also want them to take more time to create a reliable product. I hate beating a dead horse, but the only thing that's holding me back from buying an XBox360 is the RRoD - and I really want to play DOAX2.
The 360 is all MS's own IP they can churn it out forever. The xbox wasn't their IP and they were held over a barrel by nvidia, whom they'll probably never do business with again.
The 360 will have a long life, it's a very capable console and they'll angle it at the casual when the price lowers, lowers, and lowers. It *might* become fairly ubiquitous eventually, like the ps2, but with far better options for the casual [xbla, demos, community, long-awaited iptv, xblvm and hopefully zune integration too].
NB. Anyone who thinks that Sony's 10 year plan for the ps3 means the won't release another console in that time are being silly.
microsoft has a good chance to beat out ps3 in terms of the graphics of what it can do.i think they can pull off some crazy cool things with there new system whatever the name might be you know it will be hard to catch up the the ps3 but its hard for ps3 to catch up to 360 so we'll have to wait and see i cant wait
I mean after reading all your insights, it got me thinking. What does Microsoft have up its sleeve? The Xbox 360 seemed to pull out ahead of the PS3, until the price drop and the release of MGS4. What will happen when the PS4 releases? I just wonder.
Isn't it a bad sign that people talk about x720 right now?
