Jiggle This - Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus Review - PSLS

Oh boy, the Japanese are at it again! If you were ever wondering what it was like to take busty female students into battle with jiggle technology that rivals anything you have seen from other games, then you are in for a treat with Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus for the PlayStation Vita. Based around the same characters from the manga and game series that began in 2011, this is a fan service fighting game that doesn’t take itself too seriously and fails to impress in most aspects of gameplay.

"Special moves are flashy and cool."

I can't tell if that's an accidental pun or an intentional one.

the jiggling part is +7 already

hehehehe

Seems like a lot of shovelware is making it's way on to the Vita. But hey, more choice right?

izumo_lee3886d ago

So that means Senran Kagura Burst for the 3DS is also shovelware right?

There seems to be alot of comparison reviews going on like with Driveclub compared to Forza H2. So how come this game isn't compared to Senran Kagura Burst on the 3DS. Not once was Burst mentioned in this review. Personally it plays better than Burst, looks better, and has way more content than Burst.

Bayonetta has its share of jiggle but who cares about that, heck DOA invented the jiggle physics but its not taken as a negative. Its there cause its there, does not take away from the gameplay at all.

The site is subject to their opinion but i don't agree with their take on the game. A little harsh.

gangsta_red3886d ago

Hahaha, sure izumo, sure. Difference is the 3DS has way more quality titles inbound than the Vita ever will. The last few Vita games released that I have seen on this site have been Japanese otaku, school girl, fan service games.

The reason why this isn't compared to San...Sanran Kag...whatever is because nobody cares. These are cheap, poor titles meant for some sub culture unlike big name titles like Bayonetta, DC and Forza.

I'm sorry but I looked at some of the pics and this is nothing but soft core Hentai. A shame too that the Vita has become a dumping ground for these types of games.

Look who it is. Another Xbox fan talking about a game he cares nothing about, supporting a review he didn't even read so he has no idea how bad it is. Making another "point" that isn't actually a point at all.

I know you won't answer; you guys rarely do. But I still have to ask: why are you here? Why are you in an article about a game you don't care about on a console you don't care about from a company you don't care about, trolling with an off topic comment?

Japanese games - Why are they a rarity in Europe?

A lot of people who own a console or PC can´t get the thoughts of Japanese games out of their heads. And who can blame them? As we miss out on a lot of games. And Especially those of lewd nature. So these are my (Norman, TGG) thoughts on the matter.

Simon_the_sorcerer3207d ago

Well, as for the West...Both "Criminal Girls 2" and "Valkyrie Drive" got banned in Germany and Australia...

TGG_overlord3207d ago

I feel really sorry for the gamers that live in Australia and Germany :S

Littil_Devil3207d ago (Edited 3207d ago )

It´s not much better in South Korea either, as the whole country has gone full SJW mode.

Simon_the_sorcerer3206d ago

Yes...But I´m somewhat worried that this SJW cancer will spread all over the Western civilization. In other words, that the West will become like Germany -_-

Littil_Devil3207d ago

Now that I think about it, it would be really interesting to know how much German and Australian gamers spend on game imports? Furthermore, how many games they import per year? Quite a lot I bet.

TGG_overlord3207d ago

Hmm, good question. That might actually be worth looking into.

Darkwatchman3207d ago

Isn't the upcoming MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death also banned in Australia

TGG_overlord3207d ago

I think that´s correct, as "Criminal Girls 2" and "Valkyrie Drive" won´t be released there.

Littil_Devil3207d ago

That would be correct, and that´s also why a lot of games in the West gets either banned or censored on release.

Simon_the_sorcerer3207d ago

Some Australian friends of mine have to import games via New Zealand most of the time to avoid crap like that...

TGG_overlord3207d ago

I think Germany is the worst country in the whole world when it comes to censorship in video games. Hell, they even ban tons of games as well :S

Littil_Devil3207d ago

Didn´t a lot of Australian Gamers go over to New Zealand just so that they could buy GTA5?

@DragonDDark
"Yup. Country SJW rules"

No wonder why more and more people are buying games from Japan instead...
