G3AR: "There are very few games that are actively hampered by their development history (despite what any fanboy might say), and unfortunately Spacebase DF-9 by Double Fine productions is one such game. I mention this right at the beginning of the review because of how much it colours the experience and, indeed, what this game could have been."

For those of us in the United States, Thanksgiving weekend is upon us. While I like to think of this holiday as the three important F's (Food, Football and a Four day weekend), a few of us on the team thought it would be fun to look back on what games in 2014 made us thankful. Some are the usual suspects like Dragon Age or Call of Duty, but some surprises like Spacebase and Dungeons of the Endless made the cut as well.
Baden of WGB: "Though you won’t read about it on the big websites Spacebase’s developer Double Fine has courted controversy with this new game. Having originally been funded on Kickstarter Spacebase DF-9 has angered many of its backers who feel development has been sporadic and short, equating to what is said to be hasty launch and a product that doesn’t have many of the promised features."
Double Fine has released Spacebase DF-9 Version 1.0. To commemorate the release, they have also unveiled a new deal connected with her adventure game, Hack and Slash.
