There's obviously a lot of content packed into this title. While the food preparation hasn't changed too much, the new features make this a worthy purchase. The ability to compete against other players is major selling point alone. The more lenient Mama makes this a great starter game for those who are new to the series.
The 3DS is dead! We keep hearing this. Is it true? Well…sort of. It’s certain that new 3DS games are very thin on the ground these days. But even if the amount of NEW games coming to 3DS is scanty, the existing library is already ENORMOUS!
It’s a very busy month for Mama, then. When not in the garden, tempting youthful minigame fans of a green-fingered persuasion, she is back in the kitchen for a game that revisits the series’ culinary roots. Fortunately, we are here to help with the workload.
Nick Gillham: "Unfortunately Bon appétit isn’t a gourmet wonder but more like fast food. It’s good in small doses, kids love it, and you can garner some enjoyment, but it’s cheaply made and lacking in sustenance. If you’ve played previous iterations and want more, then you can’t go wrong with more Mama. But new-comers or those suffering with Mama fatigue won’t really find much here to hold them for long."
I always loved competition against players.
