"GRID isn't a racing sim, and I'm not going to spend time convincing you otherwise -- it's more arcade racer than anything. While the game lacks depth, it still manages to balance accessibility with a smidge of innovation. If we only had to grade looks, GRID would earn some pretty high marks; however, many racing fans demand -- if not require -- the aforementioned depth in the form of customization options and realistic-ish driving physics. In these instances, GRID skirts the edge of reality."
