And still only NZ iOS.

I´m all for the promotion of LBP on different platforms, but it is kinda odd that the iOS in NZ gets it first.

It's called a "soft launch". App developers do it quite regularly; They launch the app in a small market (like NZ) first as a sort-of beta trial, to make sure everything works properly before rolling it out worldwide.

This is genius marketing for LBP3!
Sony shows us how its done! How you go around a situation that looks negative to an absolute positive.
I am looking at you Nintendo and Sega.

This is very very LBP considering its basically just about every side scrolling on rails game out there on mobile devices but Sony custom made this game to look and feel like pure LBP. Which makes me wonder why the geniuses at Sega never made a similar effort to make a fresh and decent 2.5D Sonic the Hedgehog game on mobile devices by now.

Sony is using Sackboy as a cute little and tasty bait.
LOL!

Again genius promotion move by Sony for LBP as millions casual gamers are introduced to play the full version of LBP on PSP, PS3, PS Vita, PS TV and the PS4.
This is a very smart move on Sony's part to use mobile to help its traditional gaming platforms.

Trophy Addiction: Why I Hate To Love Trophies

Harry at IGCritic is ADDICTED to hunting down trophies. He even plays games he doesn't like just to earn the trophies. Harry writes "I say that I love trophies, but when it comes down to trophies, I have completely changed the way that I typically choose to play newer games"

Games like Dark Souls 3 makes me glad there is trophies. I just feel some games make them too easy or annoying. In none chapter(select) games, I do not like collectibles trophies unless it is an open world unmissable list, and I HATE those missable ones you wouldn't figure out in a thousand years without reading the Hidden trophies list.. I guess you have to start another playthrough to get to middle of the second half of the game to do some ridiculous and easy action on some obscure object in one of a hundred locations to make some nod to some other game, event, or person.

I still don't like to play crappy games just for trophies.
Trophies/achievements have ruined me somewhat as a gamer, though, I sometimes do find myself deciding what games to play based on trophies. I used to play PS2 games on the PS2 or emulated, now I'd rather wait for them to release on PS4 so I can get trophies. I don't play Nintendo games as much BECAUSE there isn't any sort of achievement system, which I know is pretty bad. If I do play a Nintendo game, I'd rather play the classics I've never played that came out in the generations without these achievement systems.

I hate when I have to replay entire game for some obscurely missable trophy in a 60 hour+ game (like the Bronze card shit in Witcher3, because I did not play cards with someone during some specific quest ,.. or saving some merchant was glitched (and game even has new game plus,.. but cards don't carry over for some stupid reason) It is almost painful when you clear something really hard, do all sort of stupid shit,.. and you are missing some stupid bronze for platinum ,..
PS: Just noticed. Funny how the article picture is the name of the exact trophy/quest in Witcher 3.

Eidolon3275d ago (Edited 3275d ago )

YES.. I ran into the horse racing glitch and merchant glitch on Witcher 3. And I'll have to do another playthrough to the end just for the Gwent trophies. That's all I'm missing(gwent and horse racing) for the platinum.
