What a great game this was. Man we could use some more of these...

darthv726h ago

Does this game support cross progression? I still have not beaten the first (I got sidetracked with lots of other games) and Id like to pick up where I left off through this version.

Zeke686h ago

Yes, if you mean PS4 to PS5 to PS5 Pro. Same save can be imported.

Zeke686h ago

To clarify, I played it on PS3 OG version. Imported that save to my PS4 remaster, imported that one to the PS5 remake. Hope that makes it more clear. ;)

Zeke685h ago

@darth72 Oops sorry, my wife you told me the remake DID NOT support old saves. She said I restarted the game and usually she have a great memory. So sorry, it seems I was wrong about the remake! :(

CobraKai2h ago

Sick that your wife actually paid attention to your hobby.

CobraKai2h ago

Sad that this deep into PS5 and not one new ND game has been released.

The Last of Us Part 1 (Extra/Premium) - September 26
Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain (Premium) - TBA
Dino Crisis (Premium) - TBA

VersusDMC1d 6h ago

Hopefully i get Dino Crisis for free as i bought the original PS1 classic on the PS3(like Sony did with Legend of dragoon) and they don't lock it to the Premium subscription like RE1 Directors cut.

But if i have to buy it again and it's 4.99 or 9.99 i won't lose any sleep rebuying.

jznrpg1d 21h ago (Edited 1d 21h ago )

When they put old games on PS plus they usually have trophies these days. I’m hoping Blood Omen and Dino Crisis also get trophies that would be great

Puty1d 7h ago

Not necessarily. Only first party and handful of 3rd party titles from ps one era have trophies ... So many trophyless games in that bunch.

Scissorman1d 5h ago

We really need a full-blown Dino Crisis remake.

slayernz15h ago

This could them testing the waters! If it gets enough downloads/sales then maybe they will greenlight a remake?

Miraak82 1d 1h ago

I think I bought blood omen on ps3 , hopefully I'll get it for free . Even if I don't I'll still buy it again .. Huge fan of the whole series , hope the remasters do well and reignites the possibility of a new game in the series . I know they just released some graphic novels so hopefully there's more going on with the series . Blood Omen 2 is kind of the weak link in the series but Defiance is definitely a must for a remaster to close out SR 1+2 story. A new Blood Omen as a topdown action rpg in modern graphics and gameplay is my dream and man that opening soul reaver music still slaps till this day

Probably the only good thing to come from the Bungie buyout, ND should stick to what they know best, SP masterpieces.

DarXyde54d ago

Mostly agree, though I'm not against studios getting experimental outside of their comfort zone.

Funny enough, if we held Guerilla to that, we'd continue to receive shooters the general public might consider pretty mid.

I think Horizon is really where they hit their stride.

Juancho5154d ago

On a case by case basis i agree with exploring different genres and creating new IPs and experiences. What I dont like is when a studio that makes AMAZING Batman games for example, decides to go live service and makes a heaping pile of garbage.

Sometimes sticking with what you do well is better, unless they can manage the risk…

Cacabunga54d ago

ND doesn’t have the experience and gaas is a make or break…
I would for sure not have supported it, same as bungie’s next thing

Knightofelemia55d ago (Edited 55d ago )

Well it's the truth live service games can be a flavor of the month, not even be a blip on the radar, could be a very popular game, a pile of shit, revenue generating, or lose your shirt, or my favorite lock everything behind a pay wall. The market is just so over saturated with these type of games. Least Bungie had one piece of solid advice.

H954d ago

Because they would lose their only worth in the company

anast54d ago

It's good they dropped factions. People make it sound like it was this huge hit , but in reality it was a Cinderella story for a relatively few that play it and to recapture that would be almost impossible

BlackTar18754d ago

Not true.

ND are jerks for promising that for years and years and delivering nothing.
