Far Cry 4 Demo Running on PS4 Shows Beautiful Environments, Bashing Down Gates with Elephants

It isn't coming out on PS3 or Xbox 360 or anything...

It's funny how no matter how long you are on N4G, there is always that one time in every poster's career where you are caught slipping, questioning the fact that random disagrees are being thrown your way.

Anyway, I can't wait until the PS3 / 360 are finally out of the equation and we can move forward with true next-gen only games. Hopefully it'll take less time than it did for the PS2.

Far Cry series is lame. This is one the PC centric games. This game shouldn't be worth your time unless you got a PC. I will play this next year when I get a PC.

The game will look great on my PC but this game is still bland. The only non-bland single player FPS game is Bioshock.

I personally can't see where this game trumps FarCry3. This looks just like an elaborate skin overhaul minus the incredibly intruiging sub-boss Vaas. I also wonder in what way the graphics differ from FarCry3 on PC.

for some reason i'm not excited for the game, i loved the original Far Cry!!! hated the second and the 3rd one was amazing, but i don't know what it is that doesn't make me excited for this. does anyone feel the same way?

They keep showing the same spot in many of these videos about the game, that's why your not excited. I will pick Alien Isolation over this any day.

From all the work they have obviously put into this game, I hope they fix the vehicle physics. The jeep flipping up and gently rolling on a wall seems a little over the top to me considering the centre of gravity for the elephant is probably above the door of it. I'm also sure that a 1.5tonne jeep wouldn't be easily flipped up in the air by an elephant, Ive unfortunately seen a similar car being hit by a truck, it's not pretty, but there wasn't a lot of air involved.

I know I'm being picky but, they have put a bucket load of time into making this a realistic experience.
